Our team

Doncaster Deaf Trust is governed by a board of trustees who provide strategic oversight and ensure we remain true to our charitable mission. Day-to-day leadership sits with our senior leadership team, which includes the heads of each of our services – nursery, school, college, children’s home, and employability programmes. Each service then has its own dedicated leadership team, ensuring specialist expertise and focused support where it matters most.

Alexis joined the Trust in 2019 and has been involved in SEND education for the majority of his career. He started his career as a Lecturer at Hartlepool College teaching A Level, Access to HE and GCSE but found his vocation teaching the Learning Support classes which inspired him to work in the field of SEND.  For the last 15 years he has held a variety of senior leadership positions in charities that support children, young people and adults with additional needs with a focus on education, training and care.
